AGCC started in the fall of 1992, with six people meeting in a mobile home in Colonie.  In 1993 we moved to Rotterdam, meeting in the Draper Center (formerly the Draper High School).  The church was started due to a passion in Pastor Jay Stillinger’s heart to reach out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to provide powerfully anointed teaching from the Word of God which is relevant to our lives today. 

Since its inception, Abounding Grace has grown both spiritually and numerically into a diverse group of people from many religious and ethnic backgrounds.  In December 2002, after leasing for several years at Draper Center, the congregation was able to purchase a 28,000 square foot building (formerly CHP) in a prime location within the town of Rotterdam, Schenectady County, NY, which has provided a beautiful place of worship and outreach.

Over the last 30+ years, the church has been able to win many people to Jesus Christ and, through the grace of God, show that Jesus is the same “yesterday, today and forever”, (Hebrews 13:8). 

We look forward to the years ahead with great faith and expectation as we continue to spread the Gospel, make strong Followers of Christ, fulfill more of the vision and make more History for the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ!
