Here at AGCC, connections are important, however, no connection is more important than the one we have with God, our Father. That connection first comes through a relationship with His Son,  Jesus Christ. (See “How Do I Get to Heaven” below, or use this link for more information.) We deepen our connection with Him through Prayer and reading His Word, the Bible.

This year, we are strongly encouraging our congregation to build a stronger connection with Him, and each other, by reading together through the Bible.  Reading the same Bible plan, allows for further discussion and understanding. This is a marvelous way to encourage each other to keep the pace, and achieve the goal of getting His Word into our hearts.

Give the Lord the time He deserves, and He will see that you are still able to accomplish all that needs to be done.  You will find that you become more positive and relaxed as you read and apply His Word to your life. Don’t be overwhelmed by trying to figure out how you will be able to do this. Just open up the Bible and let the Lord do the rest.

Hebrews 4:12 says:  For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

If you don’t have a Bible, you can download an app through your phones app store, or go to and choose the translation. (We use the NKJV mostly.)

Come grow with us spiritually, as we read through God’s Word!
